Renault India has launched the Urban Night Limited Edition across its entire model range. These are limited to 300 units each for the Kiger, Kwid and the Triber These limited editions models come with a new colour scheme and some extra features.
What’s new in the Renault Urban Night Edition?
Renault is offering a black colour option on all the Urban Night Editions of the Kiger, Kwid and Triber, Further, there are silver accents on both the bumpers, boot lid and the doors. Other elements include illuminates scuff plates along with a puddle lamp.
Renault is also offering a unique camera-based IRVM on the Urban Night Edition. In this, a 9.66-inch IRVM is connected to the camera. This is a unique feature usually not offered on vehicles of this segment.
No changes to mechanicals
The Renault Urban Night Edition cars are identical to the regular version. They continue to be offered with a 1.0-litre NA engine and a 1.0-litre turbo petrol. In the Kiger, the former develops 72 HP / 96 Nm and 100 HP / 152 Nm. Meanwhile only the 1.0-litre NA engine is offered with the Kwid and the Triber. This motor develops 68 HP / 91 Nm and 72 HP / 96 Nm respectively. The NA engines are offered with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT transmission. Meanwhile, the turbo petrol comes with a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.
Pricing of the Kiger, Kwid and Triber Urban Night Editions
Renault is offering this limited edition only in the top spec trim. Hence, all three models carry a small premium over and above the regular models. For the Kwid and the Triber, customers will have to pay INR 14,999 extra. Meanwhile, the Kwid customers looking for this edition will have to shell out INR 6,999 over the base price of the car.
The French carmaker sells the Kwid in the price range of INR 4.69-6.32 lakh, while the Triber will fall in the INR 6.33-8.97 lakh bracket. The Kiger is currently the flagship model of the carmaker which has a retail price of INR 6.33-8.97 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
