Renault launches Kwid, Triber & Kiger ‘Night & Day’ limited edition in India

Renault India has introduced a new ‘Night & Day’ limited edition for its popular models: Kwid, Triber, and Kiger. The new version gets some feature and aesthetic enhancements on the lower variants.

Key Features and Enhancements

The ‘Night & Day’ edition brings several aesthetic and functional upgrades to the table. All three models—Kwid, Triber, and Kiger—now feature a dual-tone color scheme, combining Pearl White with a Mystery Black roof.

Exterior Upgrades

The exterior of these limited-edition models boasts these enhancements:

  • Piano Black Elements: The grille, wheel covers, and ORVMs (outside rear-view mirrors) are finished in piano black.
  • Black Tailgate Garnish: Specifically for the Kiger, the tailgate garnish is also in piano black, complementing the overall design.
  • Exclusive Badging: Each model comes with exclusive ‘Night & Day’ badging, signifying its limited-edition status.

Interior and Features

Inside, the ‘Night & Day’ editions are equipped with modern features to enhance the driving experience:

  • 9-inch Touchscreen Infotainment System: Available in the Kiger and Triber, this system supports wireless smartphone replication, ensuring seamless connectivity.
  • Rear-View Camera: Both the Kiger and Triber come with a rear-view camera, aiding in parking and reversing.
  • Rear Power Windows: The Triber Night & Day edition includes rear power windows, adding to passenger convenience.

Pricing and Availability

The ‘Night & Day’ editions are based on the RXL variants of the respective models, with slight price increments to account for the additional features:

  • Kwid: Priced at INR 4.99 lakh, the Kwid Night & Day edition is available at the same price as the RXL (O) variant.
  • Triber: The manual version is priced at INR 7 lakh, while the automatic version costs INR 7.25 lakh, both reflecting a INR 20,000 premium over the standard RXL variant.
  • Kiger: The manual version is available for INR 6.75 lakh, and the automatic version is priced at INR 7.25 lakh, each costing ₹15,000 more than the corresponding RXL trims.

Limited Availability

Renault has announced that only 1,600 units of the ‘Night & Day’ editions will be produced, making them a truly limited offering. Bookings for these models will commence on September 17, 2024, across all authorized Renault dealerships in India. Given the limited number of units.
