Renault India is now 8,00,000 strong in the country. The carmaker recently crossed the figure, thus making itself the most sold European brand in India. Renault’s success in the country could be attributed to its strong product portfolio, customer centricity, rural focus and marketing initiatives. As it stands today, Renault India has a total of 530 sales and more than 530 service touchpoints. This includes 250+ Workshop On Wheels (WOW) and WOWLite locations spread all across the country. Renault India is one of the most awarded automotive brands in a single year in India. Since its inception, the carmaker has won over 60+ titles for various models. Top-selling titles like Duster and Kwid have made Renault what it is today in the Indian market.
Leveraging its smart marketing team, Renault India has started a smart initiative named Vistaar. Under this, the carmaker is aggressively pursuing an innovative and comprehensive strategy to amplify and grow its presence in Rural markets. Under this, the dealership teams recruited and trained more than 650 specialised sales consultants called Resident Dealer Sales Executives. They will take the lead in reaching out to the customers in the rural markets, thus boosting the sales further.
To expand this initiative to more customers, Renault has tied up with CSC Grameen eStore, This is a subsidiary of CSC eGovernance Services India Limited (CSC-SPV). Under this, CSC Grameen eStore will list down Renault India’s leading product range. And these products will make their way to potential customers in the hinterlands via Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs).
Furthermore, to draw the attention of more customers, Renault recently launched its full-fledged Hindi website. Thus making itself the first four-wheeler automotive brand to launch a bi-lingual website, i.e., English and Hindi. Given the current situation, Renault India has added a wide range of digital services. This includes online booking options and many other customer-centric services via MYRenault App.
