Renault India has announced its Renaulution India 2024 initiative, which includes the launch of five new products in the next three years. Not only that, the French carmaker has introduced the next generation of Kwid, Kiger and Triber.
The French carmaker is making strong additions to its existing product portfolio, with the introduction of the new 2024 range. The five cars to be launched also include the next-gen versions of the Triber and the Kiger. The other three will be completely new cars. The new range will be equipped with class-leading featuress. Like the Triber and the Kiger, the three new products will be made in India at Renault’s Chennai plant. The five product launches will be introduced phase-wise in the next three years.
Renault has launched the 2024 Kwid in India with a slew of enhancements and fresh variants. The new range is equipped with more than 14 safety features as standard, making it the best-in-class in terms of safety. The Kwid range now offers three new dual-tone exterior body colors on Kwid Climber, making it a total of five and hence, the most extensive dual-tone range offered in A-Segment. The RXL(O) variant now comes with an 8-inch touchscreen Media NAV system, making it the most affordable hatchback with touchscreen mediaNAV in the industry. To cater to the growing automatic buyer in the market, the 2024 Kwid range introduces the RXL(O) Easy-R AMT variant, positioning it as the most affordable automatic car available in the Indian market. Additionally, all variants now feature a rear seatbelt reminder. The full range has been positioned to offer more value in terms of price and content on each variant, making it more affordable and appealing to customers. The new Kwid is priced at ₹4.69 lakh and goes all the way up to ₹6.32 lakh.
The Triber has also got updated for the new year. The new range is equipped with more than 15 safety features as standard. The Triber range now offers a driver seat armrest and powerfold outside rear-view mirrors (ORVM) for added convenience. The Triber’s design quotient is further enhanced with the addition of a new Stealth Black body color. The RXT variant now comes with a rearview camera and a rear wiper, while the RXL variant takes it a step further with rear AC with dedicated AC control and vents for the 2nd and 3rd rows, and LED cabin lamps added across all variants. Additionally, to keep the in-cabin air clean, a PM2.5 air filter has been introduced. All variants now feature a rear seatbelt reminder, further enhancing safety. Prices for the new Triber start at ₹5.99 lakh for the base variant and ₹8.74 lakh for the top variant.
The enhancements continue for the Kiger as well. The new range is equipped with more than 15 safety features as standard. The SUV now offers luxurious semi-leatherette seats and a leatherette steering wheel for a premium experience. Technological advancements include a welcome-goodbye sequence with auto-fold outside rear-view mirrors (ORVM) and a bezel-less autodim inside rear-view mirror (IRVM). The sportiness of Kiger gets further enhanced with the red brake caliper on the turbo variant. For added safety, all variants now feature a rear seatbelt reminder. The line up gets a new RXL variant with Energy Manual and EASY-R AMT powertrains and the RXT(O) variant with the Turbo Manual and X-Tronic CVT powertrain, expanding the range to cater to a broader market segment. Pricing starts at ₹5.99 lakh and goes up to ₹10.99 lakh.
