The Renault Captur is now selling well, and we all know that. While Renault was betting big on this crossover, people have not really accepted it here in the Indian market. Now, Renault has updated the Captur with a few features, and have also revised the pricing.
The Captur now comes in a new red body colour option and gets roof rails as standard feature on the RxT petrol & diesel variants and also on the Platine diesel variant.
The Captur however has decent product attributes. It sports 210mm of ground clearance, touchscreen infotainment, LED headlamp & tail lamp, LED DRLs, ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, etc. But still, the Hyundai Creta dominates the segment, and it really is the best of the rest. The Captur although comes with all that you need, is not a completely perfect package overall.
Powering the Captur is a 1.5L petrol motor producing 106 PS of power and 142 Nm of torque delivering 13.87 kmpl of mileage. The diesel engine is a 1.5L block producing 110 PS of power and 240 Nm of torque delivering 20.37 kmpl of mileage.
