QJ Motor is planning to bring a new twin-cylinder middleweight motorcycle on the block which will rival the likes of the popular Yamaha MT-07 in the European market. To compete with brand’s in the international market QJ Motor will bring the new motorcycle under the Benelli brand. The motorcycle in question could be called SRK 700 and is likely to retail in China under the premium QJ Motor but is likely to be rebadged as a Benelli to be sold in the international market including India.
Reports suggest that powering the SRK 700 will be a water-cooled 693cc parallel-twin cylinder engine that develops around 75 Hp of power. The engine is similar in size when compared to the CF Moto 700CL-X and the overall engine architecture is similar to the ER6/Z650 engine from Kawasaki. The SRK 700 also features a tubular steel chassis which helps keep the weight in check and high-performance braking and suspension components from Brembo and Marzocchi.
The QJ Motor 700 features a sharp low-slung headlamp, a wide handlebar, a tiny flyscreen that covers the instruments cluster, muscular fuel tank, sharp tank cowling, step-up seating, upside-down front fork suspension, dual disc brakes on the front, a single disc on the rear, a sharp tail cowl, and digital display for the instrumentation.
Benelli is also planning to bring another update of the TNT 600i which made its debut in the international market last year. This future update includes air intake ducts, Marzocchi forks and Brembo brake callipers, refreshments to the side fairing, updates to the tail cowl but the same engine and gearbox. The Benelli 600i with the new updates is likely to arrive in the Indian market soon. The brand is also likely to introduce the SRK 700 as well as the new Benelli 302R in the Indian market, in the near future.
