QJ Motor SRT 750 revealed, this could be the 2021 Benelli TRK 800

China-based QJ Motor has revealed the new 2021 QJ Motor SRT 750 adventure motorcycle which is likely to be marketed as the Benelli TRK800 in the international market. It is also likely to arrive in the Indian market in the Benelli TRK 800 form, in the near future. The QJ Motor SRT 750 will be sold in the Chinese market and is positioned as a middleweight Adventure Tourer. 

The motorcycle features an upright design with a tall front fascia, dual split headlamp units, a tall windscreen, the classic adventure tourer beak on the front, long-travel suspension, monoshock suspension on the rear, a long-range chiselled 18.5-litre fuel tank, tank integrated body panels, a protective frame on the front, split seats, slightly high mounted tail section, upright handlebars with knuckle guards. The SRT 750 is also likely to come with LED headlamps, LED taillamps, LED indicators, a 7-inch colour TFT instruments console, cross-spoke rims with tubeless tyres and the option of 17-inch road-biased rims and tyres along with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear dual-sport or off-road friendly rims and tyres. 

The SRT 750 is likely to be powered by a 745 parallel twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, 4-valve per cylinder DOHC engine with Electronic fuel injection. As of now, details on the engine is still scarce, but earlier speculations were that the motorcycle will make around 75 Bhp of power and 67 Nm of torque and will come paired to a six-speed transmission unit. The motorcycle is also speculated to get keyless ignition, riding modes, ABS, traction control etc. 

In recent news, leaked images from a presentation revealed that Benelli is working on 10 engine across different layouts that include a small air-cooled single-cylinder, water-cooled parallel-twin, three-cylinder in-line engines and four-cylinder in-line engines. As of now, there is no clear indication when these engines will see the light of day and more details on it is awaited. Also, the brand recently launched the 2020 Benelli TRK 502 and the TRK 502x in the North American market which is expected to come in India as the 2021 BS6 Benelli TRK 502 and 502x. As of now, only the Benelli Imperiale 400 is a BS6 compliant motorcycle in the Indian market and Benelli is yet to upgrade its motorcycle portfolio in India to compete with the new stringent emission norms.
