One such electric mobility company – Pure EV, has introduced the ETryst 350 electric motorcycle.
The e-motorcycle is not only eco-friendly but also offers a commanding riding position and high ground clearance. The Pure EV ETryst 350 electric motorcycle comes with a competitive price of INR 1,54,999 ex-showroom. The brand offers the e-motorcycle in a single variant. It is important to note that the ex-showroom price does not include any Central or State Government subsidies. Furthermore, the Pure EV ETryst 350 does benefit from the FAME-II subsidies, which drop its price even further.
Powering the Pure EV ETryst 350 is a 4 kW BLDC-type hub-mounted electric motor. Pure EV claims that the electric motor is able to produce 60 Nm of torque. The electric motor is coupled to a 3.5 kWh battery which claims to return a range of 90 to 140 km on a single charge depending upon conditions. In addition to this, the electric motor also comes with three ride modes – Drive, Cross Over and Thrill. The motorcycle also comes with regenerative braking to improve the efficiency of the e-motorcycle. The brand also claims that the ETryst 350 can sprint from 0 – 40 kmph in 4.4 seconds, 0 – 60 kmph in 7.4 seconds and 0 – 75 kmph in 11.6 seconds.
Pure EV also reveals that the ETryst 350 electric motorcycle has a gradeability of 16 degrees. The Pure EV ETryst 350 rides on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels along with conventional telescopic front and twin coil-spring over damper rear suspension. The electric bike also gets disc brakes on the front and rear for stopping power. The e-motorcycle also comes with a saddle height of 770mm 180mm of ground clearance and tips the scales at 120 kg (Kerb).
Pure EV not only offers the ETryst 350 with motorcycle-like proportions but also the latest features. The bike comes with a 7-inch LED instruments cluster which offers all the important data such as speed, state of charge, range etc. The bike also comes with a centre stand and comfortable seating for two. The electric motorcycle also comes with LED headlamps, LED taillights and LED turn indicators.
