Prices of Audi cars in India will increase by up to 1.7%

Audi has announced a price hike for all its models sold in India. The price hike will be to the tune of up to 1.7 percent of the car’s ex-showroom price. These hiked prices will be effective from the 1st of January 2023. Audi said that the revision in prices is due to the rising input and operational costs.

About the Price Hike

On account of the hike, Mr. Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India said that the business strategy of Audi focuses on profitability and sustainability. The price hike is due to the result of the increasing supply chain related costs and operational expense hikes. Additionally, the hikes prices would maintain the premium price positioning of the German brand and ensure a sustainable growth for the Indian brand as well as its dealer partners. At the same time, Audi has tried to keep the price hike as minimal as possible for the benefit of its customers.

 Audi’s new logo

Just last month, Audi revealed its new logo. The iconic four-ring logo has debuted with the recently launched Audi Q8 e-tron.

Audi has retained the four rings but they have now been redesigned to reflect the brand’s classic logo. The logo now gets a two-tone appearance with a contrasting black background. The rings are finished in white colour. We can describe the design of the logo as two-dimensional and it is expected to be offered on other models across the Audi range in the future.

Apart from the logo, Audi will also be using a new font called the Audi Type. As per Andre Georgi the font tone has been restrained but there have been no compromises made on the distinctiveness or the quality. All future models of the brand will come with this font.
