Following the launch of the new 250 Adventure and the new 125 Duke, KTM and Husqvarna have hiked the prices on their existing line-up which includes the KTM 200 Duke, 250 Duke, 390 Duke, 390 Adventure and the RC125, the RC390, Husqvarna Vitpilen and the Svartpilen. The hiked price is in the range of INR 1,300 to INR 8,500 across the range. The new prices will be effective from December 2020, but it is important to note that the prices on the KTM 250 Adventure and the KTM 125 Duke remain unchanged.
The quarter-litre Adventure Touring model the KTM 250 Adventure has been launched at the price of INR 2.49 lakh ex-showroom. KTM launched the new sharper and aggressive 1290 Super Duke R inspired 125 Duke streetfighter at the price of INR 1.50 lakh ex-showroom which is almost INR 8,000 more than the predecessor and both these motorcycles see no further hike in prices.
The KTM RC 125 is now priced at INR 1.61 lakh ex-showroom and from the earlier 1.60 lakh ex-showroom, it is priced INR 1,279 more. The KTM 200 Duke was priced at INR 1.77 lakh ex-showroom which has now been hiked to INR 1.79 lakh ex-showroom that is INR 1,923 more than the predecessor. The KTM 250 Duke is priced INR 4,738 more than what it was previously which hikes the price from INR 2.09 lakh ex-showroom to INR 2.14 lakh ex-showroom. The KTM RC 390 which was priced at INR 2.53 lakh ex-showroom is now priced at INR 2.57 lakh ex-showroom with a difference of INR 3,539.
The 390 Adventure is also one of the least affected after the RC 125 with a difference in the price of only INR 1,442 which takes the old price of INR 3.04 lakh ex-showroom to INR 3.06 lakh ex-showroom. The 390 Duke, however, is the most affected in the price hike with a difference of INR 8,517 on the ex-showroom price. The new price is INR 2.67 lakh ex-showroom from INR 2.53 lakh ex-showroom. The Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 and the Svartpilen 250 both were earlier priced at INR 184,960 which has been hiked to 186,750 bringing a difference of INR 1,790 on the ex-showroom price.
