Porsche launches Panamera GTS in India at INR 2.34 Crore

Porsche has officially launched the new Panamera GTS in India, priced at INR 2.34 crore (ex-showroom). This latest addition to the Panamera lineup is set to redefine luxury and performance in the sports saloon segment.

Performance and Power

The Panamera GTS is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, delivering an impressive 500 horsepower. This marks a 20 horsepower increase over the previous GTS model. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 302 kmph. The engine is paired with an eight-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, ensuring smooth and rapid gear changes.

Design and Features

The Panamera GTS stands out with its distinctive design elements. It features black GTS logos on the sides and rear, a unique front section, and dark-tinted HD matrix LED headlamps and tail-lamps. The car also boasts red brake calipers and 21-inch Turbo S centre-lock wheels in Anthracite Grey.

Inside, the Panamera GTS offers a luxurious and sporty cabin. It is equipped with Porsche’s Race-Tex suede-like material for the roof lining, armrests, door panels, and center panels of the seats. Customers can choose from two GTS-exclusive interior packages in Carmine Red or Slate Grey Neo, along with a Carbon matt interior package.

Advanced Technology

The Panamera GTS is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), which has been specifically tuned to support the car’s sporty intentions. The suspension is lowered by 10mm compared to the standard Panamera, and it features reinforced anti-roll bars for improved body stability. Additionally, the car comes with a standard Sport package that includes satin matte-black finish on various exterior elements.

Market Position and Availability

The Panamera GTS is positioned above the standard Panamera, which was launched in India last November at INR 1.7 crore. It is available as a fully-imported CBU (Completely Built Unit) model. Porsche has announced that deliveries for the Panamera GTS in India will begin by the end of this year or early 2025.
