Porsche India has announced that the brand has appointed new dealers in Bengaluru and Chennai. The brand revealed its expansion plans in the Indian market last year, resulting in the dealer agreement of two new business partners. Porsche announced that VST Supercars Pvt. Ltd will be in charge of the Porsche Centre Bengaluru. VST Supercars Pvt. Ltd has over 77-years of experience in operations in the automotive segment. Porsche also revealed that the dealer partner for Porsche Centre Chennai would be KUN Premium Cars Pvt. Ltd. KUN Premium Cars Pvt. Ltd. has over 25 years of experience.
Porsche’s New Dealer Partners
The German automobile manufacturer has announced that both the dealer partners have initiated operations out of interim facilities. The new dealer partners will be providing sales, service and spare parts to both existing and future Porsche customers. Also, the dealers will offer state-of-the-art facilities adhering to Porsche’s global guidelines. The brand-new facilities are already under construction with plans to open in the next year. With the two new facilities mark a crucial milestone in Porsche’s expansion in India.
Strong Demand for Porsche Cars in India
Porsche India also reveals that with this, it has now expanded to eight sales locations across the country, with more coming soon. The brand’s network expansion is in response to the strong national demand. Also, the brand recorded 62 per cent growth in Porsche India’s new car deliveries in 2021 as compared to 2020, despite the COVID-19 Pandemic. Porsche also reported that this has been the company’s best retail performance since 2014. The company is also committed to expanding, thanks to the recent release of the latest generation Macan and the brand’s first fully-electric model, the Taycan.
Porsche Taycan Deliveries Begin in India
Recently, Porsche Center Delhi-NCR revealed that the company has delivered the country’s first Porsche Taycan. The Porsche Taycan comes with a starting price tag of INR 1.50 Crore ex-showroom. The Taycan features the Green Mamba Metallic exterior colour and Club Leather Olea in Truffle Brown on the interiors.
