Porsche 911 Turbo S inspired by Embraer Phenom 300E business jet available in limited numbers

The Porsche design department ‘Style Porsche’ and Embraer’s executive jet design and marketing departments have come togather to produce the strictly limited edition ‘Duet’ edition that takes inspiration from the Embraer Phenom 300E Business Jet offering customers a unique experience.

The special edition model is limited to 10 units and sports the same two-tone paintwork in Platinum Silver Metallic and matt Jet Grey Metallic accented in Brilliant Chrome and Speed Blue. Furthermore, the paintwork is finished by hand similar to the painting process for the jet. A specially designed logo also marks the cooperation and the vehicle takes the aerodynamic cues from the Phenom 300E wing and the rear wing of the Porsche 911 with the Sport Design package. The exclusive design alloy wheels are also painted in an exclusive shade of Platinum Silver Metallic with Speed Blue feature lines on the rim flange, produced using laser technology.

On the interior, the specially designed Duet logo which is on the exterior of both the Jet and the Sportscar is also embossed on the head restraints. The individual registration of the respective business jet is also painted on the underside of the spoiler and on the side of the specially made key. The detail also continues to the Door Sills which feature a ‘No step’ lettering illuminated in red. The dial on the stopwatch in the Sport Chrono package has an artificial Horizon printed on its dial reverberating with the Horizon or Attitude indicator from the aircraft. The interiors are also finished in a special colour scheme in a combination of black and chalk-coloured leather and Alcantara roof liner. The steering wheel is also finished in a two-tone leather combination matching the jet’s yoke with the 12 o’clock marking in Speed Blue.

The Porsche 911 Turbo S is powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged six-cylinder horizontally-opposed boxer engine that produces 650 PS of power matched to an 8-Speed Porsche Dopplekuplung (PDK) transmission capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.7 seconds with Launch Control and accelerate from 0 to 200 kmph in 8.9 seconds along with the claimed top speed of 330 kmph.

On the other hand, the Embraer Phenom 300E is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW535E1 turbo-fan engines that are capable of producing 3,478 pounds (15.47 kN) of thrust each which can propel the aircraft and its five occupants to a high cruise speed of 464 knots (860 kmph) and return a range of 3,724 km (2,010 nautical miles) with NBAA IRF reserves (Reserve Fuel) remaining. The Embraer Phenom 300E is also capable of flying at 13,716 metres (45,000 feet) and claims to be one of the fastest and longest-ranged single-pilot jet along with the best climb and field performance in its class.

Every Duet model also comes with a Porsche Design luggage set which includes a pilot’s case and two-weekend bags. The luggage set is complemented by a special edition new 1919 Globetimer UTC timepiece from Porsche Design that is also inspired by the theme of the Duet.
