PMV Electric, the Mumbai based EV startup has launched the microcar EaS-E at a price starting at INR 4,79,000. The EaS-E has been launched across India. Pre-orders for the car have started at a nominal price of INR 2,000. The company says they have received 6000+ pre-orders from India and other overseas markets.
The microcar gets a two seat in a tandem format and some space behind to store luggage. The car has what appears to be 4 doors. The front gets a full-width DRL at the top with dual circular LED headlamps positioned down below. The car gets alloy wheels and will get dual-tone colour design. It will be offered in a range of exterior colours like Passionate Red, Peppy Orange, Funky Yellow, Royal Beige, Deep Green, Sparkle Silver, Brilliant White, Majestic Blue, Vintage Brown, Rustic Charcoal and Pure Black.
The car also gets features like a digital infotainment system, EaS-E mode for feet-free driving, Remote Parking Assist, Cruise Control, Remote connectivity & diagnostics, Bluetooth connectivity, onboard navigation, access to music control and call control to the connected smartphone.
The car also gets power windows, three-spoke steering wheel, media controls on steering wheel, an Android based infotainment system and more.
The EaS-E EV has been launched in Mumbai and available in multiple colour options.The car is offered with a choice of three range options – 120,160, and 200 km. A 3 kW AC charger will be able to fully charge the battery in under four hours. The microcar can also be charged using a regular 15A electrical outlet.
The top speed of the EaS-E is claimed to be 70 kmph. While the 0-40 km/h acceleration is claimed under 5 seconds. The EaS-E microcar weighs around 550 kg and can accommodate two adults & a child for their daily commute.
