Pininfarina has revealed the B95 Hybercar. This limited edition car will be an all-electric open-top roadster. Only 10 units of this will be made. The price for a single unit of the B95 is set at Euro 4.4 million.
Pininfarina B95 : More Details
According to Pininfarina, the B stands for Barchetta which means roadster and 95 signifies the 95th anniversary of the company, which will take place in 2025. The deliveries are set to commence from 2025.
Coming to the design, the car doesn’t come with a roof. It lacks a front windscreen as well, but the carmaker has provided electronically adjustable aero screens. These are inspired by vintage fighter aircrafts.
The B95’s design is based on the PURA philosophy. The front end of the car gets a different design unlike the Battista. It gets vertical slats in the middle with slim headlamps positioned down below. Designers of the car have incorporated a surrounding loop, which consist of cabin, aero screens and the domes at the back of the passengers. Towards the back, there is a good resemblance with the Battista. However, there is a different bumper design along with an updated diffuser.
The model displayed by Pininfarina is finished in Bronzo Superga with contrasting elements in Giallo Arneis gloss (yellow). There is a 95 decal on the driver’s side. The car rides on 20-inch front and 21-inch rear forged aluminium alloys.
Furthermore, customers can customise their B95s as per their choice. Pininfarina will also offer matching helmets to owners.
On the inside, the car gets tan upholstery, brushed black aluminium elements and a two-tone dark tan and “Pied de Poule Houndstooth” fabric design. Just like the exteriors, the insides can be customised as well.
Powertrain of the Pininfarina B95
Powertrain is shared with the Battista. This means that the B95 comes with a 1,900 HP and 2,340 Nm overall output. This is delivered by four motors. There is a 120 kWh battery which supports 270 kW fast charging.
The B95 will do 0-96 km/h in less than 2 seconds with a top speed in excess of 300 km/h. Drivers will be able to choose from five drive modes – Calma, Pura, Energica, Furiosa and Carattere.
