Ultraviolette Automotive Pvt. Ltd recently hosted an exclusive test ride of its high-performance electric motorcycle – the F77. This event saw the participation of India’s pilot community and also marked the 75th year of independence. The test ride was conducted at the TAAL airstrip in Belagondanahalli, Tamil Nadu. As a part of this, the aim was to test the F77’s cutting-edge specs and capabilities. The pilots also got a first-hand experience of the production-ready version of the F77 ahead of its commercial launch in India.
Entirely designed and developed in India, the F77 is an urban sports bike with its inspirations from the aviation industry. Since its unveiling, the F77 has undergone massive rework and upgrades across various parameters. Now, as it stands, it is one of the most advanced high-performance electric motorcycles on the market. At this test ride event, the pilots got the chance to experience the F77 to its full potential. Thus, they tested it across multiple parameters. These include acceleration, torque, handling, braking, cornering and the real-time connected platform.
Some of the highlights of the Ultraviolette include a 0 to 60 kmph time in under 3 seconds, a top speed of 140 kmph and a range of up to 200 km on a single charge. The smart and connected F77 also comes with remote diagnostics and over-the-air (OTA) updates. Furthermore, there are a host of additional features as well. These include regenerative braking, bike tracking, multiple ride modes and also ride diagnostics.
The F77 felt like a fighter jet equivalent of a motorcycle. Pilots appreciated the acceleration, handling, braking, design, and also its build quality greatly. The key highlight was the responsiveness of the motor. Furthermore, the reassuring power on tap was enough to give a heart-pumping experience. Ultraviolette Automotive also mentioned that the F77 had been rigorously tested across different terrains. All these are to validate the motorcycle’s drivetrain, chassis, and battery capability using several quantitative and qualitative parameters.
