Piaggio Vespa S photo gallery

The Vespa S was launched in the month of March 2014 and was priced at Rs. 75,424 (ex-Delhi)
The Vespa S is powered by the same 125cc engine, but gets some cosmetic changes
The Vespa is iconic, and every model sold in India, carries forward the legacy
As of date, there are a total of four Vespa variants for sale in India - Vespa, Vespa VX, Vespa S and Vespa Esclusivo
The Vespa S is available in four colours such as orange, white, red and matte black
Side profile remains more or less the same compared to the other Vespa variants
The matte black paint job does justice to the S branding. It does add to the sporty look.
The scooter has a good contrast between the matte paint job, chrome and white stitching on the seats
The most noticeable change on the Vespa S is the rectangular headlamp with a chrome surround. All other Vespa variants have a round unit.
The fairing around the headlamp and the handlebar is much more edgy and not round / curved as on the other variants
Instrument cluster gets gloss black plastic on top with a small wind deflector like design. Backlit in orange, this unit displays time, fuel gauge, speedometer and analogue odometer with a couple of tell-tale lightsmore
Rectangular rear view mirrors in chrome complement the headlamp
Rubber beading around the rear view mirror feels like it would last the distance
Usual LHS control switches
Usual RHS control switches. The plastics used are of good quality.
Vespa branding on the handlebar grips, chrome ring on the inside
On the font apron, you have a new vertical chrome slat in the centre which also houses the Piaggio logo
Vespa badge on the front apron
Horn casing on the Vespa S has a different design and does not get chrome
Close look at the vertical chrome slat
It has full black wheels with tubeless tyres
200mm ventilated front disc brake and a single-side arm hydraulic front suspension painted in deep red
S badge on a gloss black ornament on the front fender
Rubberised foot-well provides brilliant levels of grip even with slippery shoes. However, keep the channels clean is a pain.
Even the centre portion has a rubberised top
A parcel hook below the handlebar

Lid, probably to access the fuse? (We are not sure about this)
The CVT transmission is not painted in black, breaks the monotony with the silver casing.
Seat gets contrast stitching in white. They are soft and provide good comfort when on the move.
Pillion footrest is placed under the rider seat. This is quite annoying and the rider will keep hitting the pillions feet every time they are at a red light.
Close look at the CVT transmission. Engine is a 125cc, 3-valve unit producing 10.06 PS of power and 10.6 Nm of torque.
S badge with the engine capacity below the pillion seat (LHS)
Exhaust end can gets a chrome heat-shield

A small reflector on the side, for lateral visibility at night
Rear end is identical, except for the missing pillion grab rail on the Vespa S. It gets two chrome rivets instead.

Clear lens tail lamp gets a chrome surround
Turn indicators are also of the clear lens category
Keyhole to pop-up the seat is on the LHS
Storage bin is good enough to store your medium sized, full-face helmet
Fuel filler is under the seat
A nifty cut on the seat (RHS), which works as a grab rail
