Piaggio India has announced that the brand has rolled-out special season benefits on the range of Vespa and Aprilia scooters in the Indian market. The new festive offers will be available from today till 16th November 2020, during which customers can avail benefits upto INR 10,000 on purchase of any Vespa and Aprilia variants which includes BS6-compliant facelift Vespa and BS6-compliant Aprilia range across Piaggio dealerships across India.
During the celebratory period, customers can avail e-commerce booking benefit of INR 2000, insurance benefit of upto INR 7000 along with complimentary accessories of INR 4,000. The brand has further announced that customers can avail first year of free service and 5 years of warranty which includes free Roadside assistance for 2 years during this Dusserra and Diwali season.
Recently, Piaggio launched the new Vespa Racing Sixties, a special edition scooter based on the BS6 Vespa SXL 125 and SXL 150 priced at INR 1.20 lakh ex-showroom, Pune and INR 1.32 lakh ex-showroom, Pune, respectively. The Vespa Racing Sixties draws it styling inspiration from the 60s racing machines raced around the coveted circuits of Monaco or Monza Grand Prix tracks and historic championships like the Targa Florio.
The BS6 updated facelift Vespa models feature highlights such as a full steel monocoque body with new 3 coat body colours, new twin-pot callipers on the disc brakes integrated with ABS or CBS braking technology, new crystal illumination LED headlamps with an integrated centre spar LED daytime running light, USB mobile charging port, boot light etc. In the engine department, the Vespa scooter come with either a 125cc or 150cc single-cylinder air/fan-cooled, 4-stroke, 3-valve OHC fuel-injected motor that makes 9.7 Bhp of power and 9.6 Nm of torque on the 125cc engine and 10.2 Bhp of power and 10.6 Nm of torque on the 150cc engine, matched to an automatic gearbox.
Piaggio through their social media platforms have also teased the Aprilia SXR 160, a maxi scooter that the brand plans to launch in the coming months in the Indian market. The new SXR 160 is expected arrive this festive season.
