The most aggressive road-legal Aston roadster, the Aston Martin Vantage GT12 Roadster, was commissioned by a customer. The project was conceived and produced in a span of 9 months by the marque’s Q division.
The original Vantage GT12 Coupe’s production was supposed to be limited to a 100 vehicles. The one of a kind roadster gets new carbon fibre bits in its bodywork, premium paint job and trim elements.
To ensure the car has sharp ride and handling characteristics, a unique suspension set-up has been added. Powering the vehicle is a 6.0-litre V12 naturally aspirated petrol engine (featuring magnesium inlet manifolds with new geometry, magnesium torque tube and a titanium exhaust system) which bangs out 600 PS and is mated to a 7-speed Sportshift III paddle shift gearbox
This goes to show how capable the Q division is. We hope to see many more such unique projects in the future!
