One of India’s highest-selling electric two-wheeler manufacturers, Okinawa Autotech, has inaugurated its first experience centre called the Galaxy in Dehradun. Located in the capital city of Uttarakhand, the Galaxy experience centre will engage with prospective customers with regard to electric two-wheelers. Okinawa has ensured to design the Galaxy experience centre as a lively, perceptible, and interactive space, meant for customer interaction.
Okinawa’s Current Line-Up
Okinawa offers a range of low and high-speed scooters, the former of which includes the Okinawa R30, Lite, and Dual. On the other hand, the latter includes the Okinawa Ridge+, Praise Pro, and iPraise+. Okinawa has priced the low-speed models between INR 61,998 ex-showroom and INR 82,995 ex-showroom. Meanwhile, the brand has priced high-speed models between INR 64,797 ex-showroom and INR 1,05,990 ex-showroom.
At the new Galaxy experience centre, customers can get the chance to examine numerous crucial components of the e-scooters. These include examining the battery, motor, and chassis in great detail. The EV OEM also offers a customization area in the new dealership where customers can opt for bespoke, hand-painted e-scooters. Okinawa has also ensured to pack the store with dozens of Merchandise products for its customers.

In October 2021, Okinawa Autotech announced that it aims to achieve 100% localization by the end of the fiscal year. The company plans to achieve this by devoting itself to the Government of India’s ‘AtmaNirbhar Bharat’ initiative. To further propel its vision, Okinawa has also invested INR 200-250 crore to establish a new manufacturing plant in Rajasthan.
