Okinawa has brought in new vibrant colour options for its Praise electric scooter range. This step is in line with the brand’s commitment to attracting more customers. In addition to this, the brand also aims to provide them with an unparalleled electric scooter riding experience and greater personalization options.
What Are The New Colours?
Customers can now have the Praise platform (PraisePro and iPraise Plus) in eight new colours. These are, namely, Electric Green, Ocean Blue, Mauve Purple, Liquid Metal, Military Green, Mocha Brown, Seafoam Green, and Sun Orange. Apart from the new colour options, both Okinawa electric scooters do not benefit from any mechanical change.
Okinawa And Its Innovative Features
The Okinawa Praise Pro gets its design elements with a plethora of innovative features. This speaks of the ultimate blend of elegance and technology. The electric scooter also gets superior-grade ergonomics that give the rider a comfortable ride.
One such key highlight is the battery. This can be fully charged in 3-4 hours. The peak speed of the scooter is 56 km/hr. Meanwhile, the running cost is just 14 paise/km. In terms of features, these scooters are pretty much up there. This includes, all LED lights and E-ABS (Electronic Assisted Braking System) with regenerative energy. These scooters also equip a central locking system with an anti-theft alarm, the Locate My Scooter function, a USB charging port for mobile devices, and walk assistance.
Okinawa Might Be In Some Problem
That said, Okinawa is currently one of the many electric vehicle players in the EV space. But recently, the central government is investigating the misappropriation of subsidies under the FAME scheme. Because of this, the subsidies for Okinawa electric scooters have been put on hold. As the government is considering the clawback of wrongfully claimed subsidies as part of further action. As it stands, Okinawa maintains that it has followed all norms of the subsidy and passed it on to customers in advance.
