Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) has announced its sales report for May 2023. The carmaker posted a total sales of 4,631 units for the month of the given period. The domestic wholesales stood at 2,618 units, meanwhile, the export figure stood at 2013 units. Domestic sales witnessed a YOY growth of 23 per cent for May 2023. Meanwhile, the cumulative YTD domestic sales rose up to 23 per cent as compared to FY22.
Nissan India mentioned that the positive momentum continues with a growth of 23 per cent. This is on the strength of the strong demand for Nissan Magnite. Now the introduction of the Nissan Magnite Special Edition GEZA will further add an attractive value proposition.
We are aware that Nissan Motor India recently launched the Magnite GEZA edition for the Indian market. The range starts from INR 7.39 lakh. Nissan has brought in this new edition with new added features. This aims towards boosting sales of this sub-compact SUV. The new Magnite GEZA Edition is yet another limited edition from the brand. Customers get updated interiors but no mechanical alterations to the drivetrain.
The new Magnite GEZA special edition comes with a 9-inch touchscreen entertainment system. This unit supports both wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Moreover, the car also gets JBL speakers, a rearview camera with trajectory recommendations, ambient lighting with app-based controls, and beige seat upholstery. Apart from these additions, the SUV largely remains the same as the previous model, with no modifications to the powertrain.
Speaking of the powertrain, the Nissan Magnite continues with the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that makes 72 Ps and 96 Nm of peak torque. There’s another engine option for the Magnite which is a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that generates 100 PS and a maximum torque of 160 Nm.
