Nissan India announces its sales report for December 2021. The company has sold over 3,010 vehicles for the given month. This accounts for the sales of both Nissan and Datsun vehicles in India. Compared to the December 2020 figure, Nissan India has registered a staggering growth of 323 per cent. For December 2020, the sales figure stood at 6,609 units. Meanwhile, for December 2021, the figure stood at 27,965 units. In terms of exports as well, the company has registered positive growth. For December 2021, the export figure stood at 28,582 units, up from 17,785 units for the same period last year. This translates to a growth of 61 per cent.
The introduction of Magnite has been very crucial for Nissan India. This particular vehicle is the reason why Nissan India is still relevant in the country. Magnite is a perfect package for Indians looking for a daily commuter. Nissan mentioned that they have sold over 35,000 units of Magnite for 2020. Interestingly, around 31 per cent of the total bookings have come from the Nissan Digital ecosystem. The carmaker claims that Magnite’s maintenance will cost around 30 paise per km for the first 50,000 km. With this, the customers also get the option to extend the warranty for up to 5 years/1,00,000 km. To further add to the peace of mind, Nissan India provides 24/7 roadside assistance in over 1,500 cities.
