Nissan Magnite KURO Special Edition launched in India

The official partner of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 is Nissan. Hence, to commemorate this partnership, Nissan has launched the Magnite Kuro edition. Bookings for the same are now open across India. Interested customers can book this car by paying a token amount of INR 11,000. Nissan is expected to reveal the prices in October.

What’s new in the Nissan Magnite Kuro?

For starters, the Nissan Magnite Kuro special edition gets all-black styling on the outside. The car gets a black grille, skid plate, roof rails and black alloys. In fact, even the headlamps get black finishers and there are special badges as well.

On the inside, the black theme continues as well. Nissan offers a gloss black instrument panel, black interior elements and black door inserts. Some of the features include rear AC vents, centre armrest, a wider IRVM, wireless charger, floor mats, 360-degree camera and more.

Nissan offers two engine options on the Magnite. These include a naturally aspirated 1.0-litre petrol engine good for 71 BHP and 96 Nm and a turbocharged 1.0-litre unit rated at 99 BHP and 160 Nm. The NA engine gets a 5-speed manual gearbox while the turbo-petrol is paired with a CVT.

In terms of variants, the carmaker is expected to offer the Kuro special edition across the top-end variants of the Magnite. These include the XV MT, Turbo XV MT and XV CVT.

Made In India Nissan Magnite

Nissan India also exports the made-in-India Magnite to over 15 countries. This includes Bangladesh, Brunei, Seychelles, and Uganda. So far, Nissan has exported close to over one million vehicles from its Chennai facility to 108 nations. The list of counties includes Australia, Europe, the Middle East, South-East Asia, New Zealand, Latin America, SAARC, Sub Sahara, and African regions.

The Nissan Magnite is available with a slew of choices across two distinctive engine options. The SUV comes with a variety of single- and dual-tone colour options. In fact, Nissan recently updated the SUV to comply with BS6 phase-2 norms and gave it several features as standard. As a result of this, all variants of the Magnite now come equipped with Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Traction Control System (TCS) and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
