Nissan hasn’t been in the news for something big in a long time now. The brand has not introduced any new product in the recent past, and showrooms are not really selling cars in good numbers. The Japanese manufacturer has now launched a special edition variant of their Terrano SUV. Dubbed as the Terrano Sport Edition, this variant has been priced at INR 12.22 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Nissan Terrano Sport Edition SUV is available only in the 85 HP diesel variant. This limited period only variant hence will not be available on the 110 HP diesel model.
This particular motor for the Nissan Terrano Sport Edition, the 1.5L K9K produces 85 HP of power and 200 Nm of torque. The engine is matched to a 5-speed gearbox. Now for this price, the engine specs do feel a bit inferior and also considering this is a big SUV. Premium hatchbacks at significantly lower price tags have more engine specifications than this.
The Terrano Sport Edition comes with LED DRLs on the front grille next to the headlamp, new body decals, black roof, roof rails, new dark body cladding, dual tone alloy wheels, new brown & black interior theme, new seat covers, new floor mats and navigation system via a 7.0″ touchscreen infotainment system.
The Nissan Terrano Sport Edition is based on the top spec XL (O) trim of the 85 HP version.
