Nissan announces new finance schemes and services

Nissan has announced the launch of new customer-centric features with new finance schemes that allow the easy acquisition of Nissan cars as well as the safety of its customer and staff from COVID-19 spread by introducing door-step deliveries of new cars as well as pickup and drop facilities for cars under service and maintenance, across all Nissan dealerships pan India. 

Nissan has introduced ‘Buy Now Pay from Jan 2021’ finance scheme on select Nissan products. The scheme enables easy acquisition of select Nissan vehicles and allows flexibility to delay the start of EMI by 7 months. The brand has also introduced the ‘Job Loss Protection’ scheme which covers the EMI’s in case of Job loss or medical emergencies including COVID-19. ‘Zero Mile Car’ is another product from Nissan that explores the used car business. The brand also has unique insurance policies which offer medical emergency and Job Loss protection securing EMI’s. 

The brand has also announced the launch of a fully redefined pick-up and drop service for the safety and convenience of its customer’s. The end to end hygienic solution includes complete sanitization process for all touchpoints of the vehicle such as door handles, steering wheel, parking brake, gear knob at the time of pick up and delivery from the customer’s home. The pick-up and drop facility is available at all Nissan dealerships across all major cities across India. Other customers can also avail the pick-up and drop benefits at minimal charges. 

In related news, Nissan has dropped the Micra, Micra Active, Sunny and Terrano from its official website in India and currently only offers the upcoming 2020 BS6 Nissan Kicks SUV and the Nissan GT-R supercar. 

The BS6 Nissan Kicks is offered with a new 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 156 PS of power and 254 Nm of torque matched to a manual gearbox as well as an X-Tronic CVT transmission. The Nissan Kicks is expected to be launched as soon as the lockdown is relaxed in the country.
