Nissan India announces its sales report for October 2021. The carmaker posted a total sales of 6,917 units for the given month. The domestic sales accounted for 3,913 vehicles, while exports contributed 3,004 units. The same for October 2020 stood at 1,105 units and 75 units. For the domestic market, Nissan India’s sales grew by 254 per cent. The carmaker also mentioned the shortage in the supply of semiconductors that is affecting the production and supplies. With the opening up of businesses and the speed up in the vaccination drives, customers are finally stepping their feet to the showrooms again. Nissan confirmed that the first seven months cumulative sales are higher than the cumulative sales of the last full financial year.
