Nissan announces support for cars damaged in floods in India

Nissan has announced that the brand has set up a special Helpdesk for its customers affected by floods in India. The company will be offering free roadside assistance to the customers through this dedicated Helpdesk. In addition to this, the company will also waiver of insurance claim process fees of up to INR 1000 for flood-affected vehicles in India.

Nissan has extended its support measures till the 30th September 2024, revealed the brand. This extended and comprehensive support measure will help its customers in such challenging times. Also the company’s range of assistance services will be available until 30th September 2024, revealed Nissan.

Nissan Special Helpdesk

The special Helpdesk that Nissan has setup will provide road side assistance to its customers without any charges. This includes towing of flood-affected vehicles to the nearest Nissan service workshop. Also, the brand has collaborated with its dealers to offer a waiver of insurance as mentioned before, for the flood-affected vehicles. This will help the customers settle insurance without burdening them of further financial pressure.

Discounts on Spares

In addition to the RSA and the insurance waiver, Nissan is also offering a special 10% offer on engine oil and oil filter replacements. Furthermore, the brand is also offering 10% discounts on floor carpets to the flood-affected vehicles, as usually the carpets may need replacement due to water damage. Additionally, the brand revealed that customers will also be able to avail a detailed vehicle health check up at authorized service workshops for all flood affected vehicles.
