Nexzu Mobility, one of India’s upcoming electric vehicle manufacturers has announced the launch of the Rompus+ supercycle. Nexzu was founded in 2015 with an aim to build affordable and stylish electric vehicles for the Indian customers. The company has its manufacturing unit at Chakan with over 70 plus dealer touchpoints. The products are also available across all the major e-commerce platforms. Rompus+ supercycle comes in as a scooter cum bicycle avatar which is its main USP. With the growing sentiments to push for EVs in the current market, Nexzu Mobility will try to leverage this opportunity with the introduction of Rompus+ supercycle.
The supercycle gets a 36V, 5.2 Ah Lithium-Ion battery which powers a 36V, 250 Watts HUB BLDC Motor. This supercycle can fully charge in just under 3 hours and has a maximum running range of 25 km on throttle mode and 35 km on the eco pedelec mode. The top speed of the electric vehicle is 25 kmph with an auto cutoff feature. The design layout of the supercycle also looks quite impressive. The cold roll alloy frame with in-built horns and headlights give it a very modern look. To improve the ride quality, Nexzu has equipped the supercycle with 26-inch tyres with front suspension and dual-disc brakes. The high-grade foam cushion saddle gives a very comfortable ride. The motor and battery come with 18 months of warranty which does add to the peace of mind of the customers.
Rompus+ also falls greatly into the nation’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. The supercycle’s main target audience is the regular commuters and businesses who are in search of an electric vehicle which is both economical and can also act as a regular cycle as and when required. Nexzu mobility claims that Rompus+ is the perfect blend of comfort and convenience. A 100% homegrown product, Rompus+ is set up to completely disrupt the electric two-wheeler market with its innovative design and economical offering. Nexus confirmed that this supercycle will be available in four metallic colours – red, silver, blue and black.
