Next-generation Skoda Superb begins testing

Spyshots have emerged of the next-generation Skoda Superb testing on international soil. The car is expected to make a global debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show in March. Indian debut is expected somewhere during 2016. The new model is expected to carry a lot of design inputs from the Vision C concept.

An already long and comfortable sedan, with the new Superb, dimensions are expected to increase. Based on Volkswagen’s MQB platform, the Superb is expected to get a bump of 75mm in wheelbase over the current model. Headroom for the rear passengers could also be increased without increasing the roof line.

The new Superb will be powered by 2.0L TDI & TSI motors and smaller 1.6L TDI &  1.8L TSI engines could also be available.

Prices of the Superb are expected to go up with the new model coming to India.
