Mercedes-Benz has been of a product offensive not only in India, but worldwide. It aims to have more than 30 models on sale by 2020 with new models being added to their portfolio every year. This raised the need to rework on the nomenclature of models to make it clearer for the customers to which category a particular car belongs.
The new nomenclature will be based on 5 core models which are the A-, B-, C-, E- and S-Class. Based on this, the new models names will be derived as three upper-case letters. Look at the image below for better understanding…
