New Maserati super sports car is coming soon

Maserati has announced that the Italian luxury car brand will be launching the Grecale SUV in the Indian market. The Maserati Grecale SUV not only has Maserati’s performance but also features an elegant design as well as comfortable interiors and claims to have the best-in-class driving experience thanks to its off-road setup and handling.

100% Made in Italy

Maserati has revealed that the Grecale SUV will be Made in Italy at the company’s Cassino production facility and imported to India via the CBU (Completely Built-Up) route. The SUV is also engineered in Modena and offers the functionality of an SUV with the performance and comfort of luxury car.

Maserati Grecale – Variant and Powertrains

Upon launch, the Maserati Grecale will be available in three variants – Grecale GT, Grecale Modena and Grecale Trofeo. The GT comes with a 4-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 300 Hp of power and is the choice for city-dwellers. The Modena comes with a 4-cylinder 330 Hp engine with mild-hybrid technology and is targeted towards sports and outdoor-going customers. The Trofeo, however, comes with a 530 Hp V6 engine and is focused on offering performance.

Maserati Grecale – Performance and Features

Maserati reveals that the Grecale Trofeo is capable of achieving a top speed of 285 kmph and can sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds, while offering luxurious materials such as wood, carbon fibre and leather on its interiors. The SUV also comes with Maserati Intelligent Assistant (MIA) Multimedia system, comfort display, digital clock, and a heads-up display. 

Maserati’s Future in India

Maserati also revealed that in the near future the brand will be offering a full-electric version of the Grecale in the Indian market. The all-electric Grecale uses a 400V electric architecture and is inline with the brand’s commitment towards an electric future.

The company is also expanding its presence in the Indian market with new dealerships in Delhi and Bengaluru. Maserati North India in New Delhi and VST Maserati in Bengaluru join the existing dealer in Mumbai.
