Written by Kanad Kalasur

The 2024 KTM Duke has been spotted in a new colour scheme. The bike is close to its global debut. The 2024 KTM 390 Duke is expected to be launched with updated mechanicals, electronics and is likely to come with a larger engine as well.

What’s new in the 2024 KTM 390 Duke?

The new bike looks quite sporty in the orange theme. Previously the bike was spotted in a blue paint. The 2024 KTM 390 Duke will be sold in both the colour options. The bike gets an orange theme on the fuel tank, wheels and the seats.

That said, the graphics on the bike are the same as the earlier blue bike. Overall, the 2024 KTM 390 Duke has got a pretty good upgrade. Compared to the current-gen bike, the new one gets an updated fuel tank, split seats, new design rear view mirrors and 5-spoke alloy wheels. There is a new split grab handle at the back for the pillion as well.

Major hardware changes include a new chassis, an updated sub frame, a new instrument cluster and an off-set mounted rear mono shock. Apart from these, we can also expect adjustable front shock absorbers for the Indian market. The same is available in the International RC 390.

Powertrain of the 2024 KTM 390 Duke

The Austrian bike maker will most likely upgrade the powertrain as well. While the current model uses a 373cc motor, the new bike could come with a 399cc engine. This liquid-cooled, single-cylinder motor will definitely develop higher numbers than the 373cc units 43 BHP and 37 Nm.

Launch timeline in India

While the international debut of the 2024 KTM 390 Duke is expected soon, there is no official date for the bike’s launch in India. However, it is said that an early 2024 launch could be a possibility for the Indian market.
