Hyundai India has officially opened the bookings for the all-new Hyundai Tucson. Interested customers can avail themselves of Hyundai’s online booking facility. And at the same time, the bookings are also open offline via Hyundai Signature outlets across India. Hyundai’s Signature outlets are currently present, with 246 outlets open in 125 cities. With the new and updated model, Hyundai aims to redefine the benchmark for premium SUVs in India. The Tucson is available in two trims, Platinum and Signature. The Platinum trim features over 45 standard safety features. Meanwhile, the Signature variant will offer over 60 safety features.
Being a Hyundai, we expect Tucson to come loaded with the features. The SUV gets a long list that includes 8-way Power-adjustable Passenger Seat and Passenger Seat Walk-in Device. The front seats are also ventilated and heated. At the same time, the driver’s powered seat also gets a memory function. At the rear, it gets a Hands-Free Smart Power Tailgate with Height Adjustment. ADAS is also getting increasingly popular; thus, Tucson has joined the bandwagon. Under the Hyundai SmartSense, the Tucson offers a host of ADAS Technologies.
In terms of driving safety functions, Tucson benefits from Forward Collision Warning/Avoidance and Blind Spot Collision Warning. Other ADAS features include Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Driver Attention Warning, Blind-Spot View Monitor and Safe Exit Warning. In terms of driving convenience, drivers will get the aid of Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Lane Following Assist and High Beam Assist. Furthermore, to make parking more seamless, the Tucson also gets Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist and Surround View Monitor.
Hyundai has equipped Tucson with a wide array of features to refine luxury and hi-tech. These include a 10.25-inch HD Audio Video Navigation System, Bose Premium Sound 8 Speaker System, Premium Black and Light Grey Dual Tone Interiors, 64 Colour Ambient Lighting, and 10.25-inch Floating type Digital Cluster. In terms of safety, the SUV gets 6 Airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), Downhill Brake Control (DBC), and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
