New Hero MotoCorp Xpulse motorcycle coming soon

Hero MotoCorp is set to unveil the new Xpulse 210 at the 2024 EICMA (Esposizione Internazionale Ciclo Motociclo e Accessori) show in Milan. The motorcycle was teased by Hero in a social media post.

Design and Features

The new Xpulse 210 is expected to sport several design updates, including a revised front styling with a redesigned headlamp unit and updated cycle parts. The teaser video released by Hero MotoCorp hints at a more aggressive and contemporary look, maintaining the rugged appeal that the Xpulse series is known for. 

The motorcycle will be powered by a 210cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This engine, similar to the one in the Karizma XMR, is anticipated to deliver around 25  bhp at 9250rpm and a peak torque of 20 Nm at 7250rpm. The bike will also feature a six-speed gearbox, although with potentially different gear ratios compared to the Karizma XMR, optimized for adventure riding. 

Advanced Technology and Equipment

The Xpulse 210 will likely come equipped with a host of advanced features. These include a digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and multiple riding modes. The bike’s suspension setup is expected to include long-travel telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear, providing superior comfort and handling on various terrains.

Market Position and Pricing

Hero MotoCorp has yet to confirm the official launch date and pricing for the Xpulse 210 in India, but industry sources suggest an early 2025 release. The new model is expected to be priced around INR 1.65 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it competitively in the mid-range adventure motorcycle segment. 

Consumer Reception and Expectations

The Xpulse series has been well-received in the Indian market, known for its reliability and versatility. The introduction of the Xpulse 210 is expected to build on this reputation, offering improved performance and modern features that cater to both on-road and off-road enthusiasts. The upcoming debut at EICMA 2024 has generated significant interest, with many eagerly awaiting the detailed specifications and features.
