Images of the Hero MotoCorp Destini 125 have surfaced online ahead of its official debut. The Destini 125 is due for an update which is coming soon,. However, the images have appeared earlier.

The Spyshot

The leaked photographs reveal a significant design overhaul for the 2024 model, showcasing a sleeker and more modern aesthetic. The new Destini 125 ditches the previous model’s triangular headlight design in favor of a more contemporary LED setup, complemented by copper accents that add a touch of elegance to the vehicle’s overall appearance.

Design and Aesthetics

It seems that a new colour in a shade of black (dubbed “Pearl Black”) will be introduced. The updated scooter in the spyshot sports a dual-tone color scheme, with a striking black and brown combination which gives the scooter a modern and sporty look. The copper highlights are not just limited to the headlamp area but extend to the mirrors, body panel, and tail lamps, creating a cohesive and premium look. The backrest at the rear also gives the scooter a premium appeal and makes it look bigger than it actually is.

Mechanical Specifications

Underneath the refreshed exterior, the Destini 125 retains its trusted 124.6 cc air-cooled 4-stroke engine, delivering a solid performance of 9 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 10.4 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The inclusion of a front disc brake and telescopic forks promises an enhanced riding experience, ensuring both comfort and safety.

Market Position and Competition

Set to compete with the likes of Honda Activa 125, Suzuki Access 125, TVS Jupiter 125, and Yamaha Fascino 125, the new Hero Destini 125 aims to carve out a significant niche in the bustling Indian scooter market. The previous models, LX and XTEC, have been well-received, and the latest iteration is expected to build on that success with its updated features and competitive pricing. Consider an increment of INR 5,000 to 10,000 than the outgoing scooter.
