Mahindra has introduced the New Bolero City Pik-Up for the Maharashtra market. With this model, the company ensures best-in-class mileage, segment-leading payload capacity and cargo width, and also the best-in-class engine torque. Furthermore, Mahindra also claims that drivers will find it easy to manoeuvre on narrow and city-like road conditions with this model. All this is possible because of a shorter bonnet, thus resulting in a shorter turning radius. All these factors make the New Bolero City Pick-Up much suited for the city driving conditions. Prices for the vehicle starts from INR 7.97 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
Powering the pick-up truck is a 2,523 cc m2Di four-cylinder diesel engine that makes 65.9 PS of power and 195 Nm of torque. Mahindra claims a best in class mileage of 17.2 kmpl. The latest model also uses a stronger rear suspension to take up any challenging roads. The model’s payload capacity is 1,500 kg with a large 2,640 mm cargo box. Equipped tyres are of 215-section width on 15-inch wheels, which ensures better road grip and mileage.
On the inside as well, we get to see some updated bits. The co-driver seat is now wider to ensure the best in-cabin experience. In terms of warranty, customers will get a 3 years/1 Lakh km package. Mahindra claims that customers are certain to gain more profits with minimal maintenance costs. With the enhanced capability to traverse through difficult terrain, the new Bolero City Pik-Up will grab more business opportunities.
In India, Mahindra boasts the widest portfolio of small commercial vehicles that can cater to a wide diversity of customers. As of today, Mahindra Pik-Ups have more than 18 Lakh happy customers. The sales also say a lot about the brand’s dependability and ease of maintenance. Furthermore, Mahindra’s wide dealer network is also an incentive to facilitate easy repairs and servicing.
