Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is set to launch the bold new Hyundai Alcazar on September 9, 2024. As the launch date closes in, HMIL is revealing new details of the upcoming SUV from time to time. This time around, we have more details of the powertrain.
The bold new Hyundai Alcazar will be available with two engine options designed to cater to different driving preferences:
To further enhance the driving experience, the Alcazar is equipped with multiple drive modes (Normal, Eco, and Sport) and traction modes (Snow, Mud, and Sand), along with features like paddle shifters and Idle Stop and Go (ISG).
The new Alcazar comes packed with an impressive array of over 70 safety features, including 40 standard ones. The SUV is equipped with Hyundai’s SmartSense Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), a best-in-segment offering that includes 19 features designed to enhance driving safety, convenience, and parking ease.

Standard safety features include six airbags, Hill-Start Assist Control, Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management, and all four disc brakes. The SUV also features a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (Highline) and safety enhancements such as a Digital Key, Hill Descent Control, front parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, and an Electro Chromic inside rearview mirror.
