In an exciting development for adventure motorcycle enthusiasts, Triumph has introduced the highly anticipated 2024 Tiger 900 lineup in the Indian market. Notably, the updated range now comprises just two variants. These include the GT priced at Rs 13.95 lakh and the Rally Pro retailing at Rs 15.95 lakh. Meanwhile, the erstwhile Tiger 900 Rally has been discontinued globally, including in India.
The highlight of the revamped Tiger 900 lineup is its potent 888cc triple-cylinder engine. The motor has undergone significant enhancements resulting in increased power and torque. The new engine now delivers an impressive 108 HP @ 9,500rpm and 90 Nm of torque @ 6,850rpm. This represents a substantial boost of 13 HP and 3 Nm compared to the previous model, placing the Tiger 900 in close competition with its pricier rivals like the Ducati Multistrada V2 and DesertX.
Additionally, Triumph has introduced a new 7-inch TFT dashboard. This has been borrowed from the larger Tiger 1200, which is now a standard feature across both variants. Notably, this updated display now offers Bluetooth connectivity, a feature that was optional in the earlier models.
In terms of ergonomics, both the GT and Rally Pro models have experienced a 10mm increase in seat height. Consequently, the GT’s seat now ranges from a manageable 820-840mm, while the Rally Pro’s elevated perch stands at 860-880mm.
However, these enhancements are accompanied by a price adjustment. The GT variant is now available within the price range of Rs 13.95 lakh – Rs 14.15 lakh, marking an increment of Rs 15,000 – Rs 25,000 depending on the chosen color. On the other hand, the Rally Pro is priced between Rs 15.95 lakh – Rs 16.25 lakh, reflecting a rise of Rs 45,000.
Enthusiasts eagerly anticipating the arrival of these upgraded models will be pleased to know the delivery timeline. The 2024 Triumph Tiger 900 deliveries are scheduled to commence from February 2024. With its enhanced performance, advanced features, and competitive pricing, the 2024 Tiger 900 lineup is poised to make a significant impact in its segment. Furthermore, the Indian adventure motorcycle market will now witness a product that promises thrilling adventures for riders across the country.
