KTM has launched the MY2024 KTM RC 200 in the Indian market with two new colours. The new colour theme is now available in the Indian market. KTM reveals that the mid-spec RC 200 will come with – Blue and Black colour options. The colourway is reminiscent of the KTM RC 8C livery. The motorcycle also gets a black frame and orange subframe, that matches the orange graphics on the body colour. While the Blue option gets Orange wheels, the Black colourway comes with Black wheels.
Mechanically, the KTM RC200 remains unchanged. Powering the ‘Race Competition’ series motorcycle is a 200cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. The engine produces 25 Hp of power and 19 Nm of torque. The RC 200 comes with a 6-speed gearbox. The brand offers the RC200 with upside down front fork suspension and a monoshock on the rear. Stopping power comes from disc brakes on both ends with a radial calliper on the front.
Recently, KTM also launched the new 250 Duke with a new Black and Blue colour option. The new KTM 250 Duke also gets three colour options – Ceramic White, Electric Orange and the new Black and Blue colours. The 250 Duke with the new colour option has not changed mechanically.
In addition to the 250 Duke, KTM will soon be introducing new themes on its entire range. Also, the brand is currently testing the next-generation 390 Adventure and a brand new product – 390 Enduro for the Indian market. The Enduro is an off-road focussed motorcycle while the 390 Adventure will come with touring friendly parts.
Expect the launch of the new 390 Adventure and the 390 Enduro by this festive season. Both motorcycles are likely to use the same new LC4C (Liquid-Cooled 4-Valve Compact) engine but a new chassis, and other cycle parts. The electronics suite on the new bike is also expected to be throughly refreshed.
