Kawasaki has brought in the 2024 iteration of its middleweight sports tourer motorcycle, the Ninja 650. The company mentioned the availability of this product in the international markets. However, as of now the India launch details for this motorcycle are not available yet.
For 2024, the Kawasaki Ninja 650 benefits from new paint themes. The list available in the North American market includes Metallic Matte Dark Gray with Metallic Spark Black, Metallic Flat Spark Black, Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray with Ebony, Metallic Matte Covert Green with Metallic Spark Black and Pearl Sand Khaki.
Apart from new colour options, the styling remains unchanged. Thus the 2024 Kawasaki Ninja 650 continues to use its typical twin-pod headlight with a sharp design. The motorcycle also benefits from a full fairing, a split-style seat, a muscular fuel tank, and a compact exhaust canister.
Talking of the hardware, too, we do not see many changes. Thus, the mechanicals remains unaltered. Thus the middleweight sports tourer continues to get telescopic front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock to take care of the suspension duties. The braking setup consists of twin discs at the front and a single rotor at the back.
Talking of the feature list, the motorcycle benefits from small tweaks. The TFT instrument cluster now shows phone notifications via the Rideology App. This smartphone application also gives access to view riding logs, vehicle info, and general settings. Other features retained from the previous version include an LED headlight, dual-channel ABS, LED taillight, and a two-level traction control system.
The mechanical specifications of the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja remain unchanged. The motorcycle uses the same 649-cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine from the previous versions. The engine is linked to a six-speed gearbox. This motor makes 67.3 BHP at 8,000rpm and 64 Nm at 6,700rpm.
As of now, the India launch details for the 2024 Ninja 650 are not out. However, we expect the model to arrive in the Indian market in late 2023 or early 2024.
