MY24 Hyundai Creta facelift will get Level 2 ADAS & 70+ Safety Features

Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has revealed a host of futuristic technology and advanced safety features in the latest iteration of the upcoming Creta. Hyundai India aims to set new benchmarks with the new-gen Creta.

The new Hyundai CRETA is designed to offer an immersive experience in advanced technology and uncompromised safety, marking a significant step forward in the brand’s commitment to innovation and safety. Mr. Tarun Garg, COO, Hyundai Motor India Ltd., emphasized the SUV’s role in redefining the landscape, blending innovation with a superior and futuristic driving experience.

New Creta – Safety

To underscore its commitment to safety, the new Hyundai Creta introduces 19 Hyundai SmartSense – Level 2 ADAS features, showcasing the brand’s dedication to customer safety. With a total of over 70 safety features, including essentials like airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, and Electronic Stability Control, the Creta aims to provide passengers a protective environment.

The SUV’s body structure is crafted with advanced and high-strength steel. Key areas like crash members, floor, side sill, and crash pad have been reinforced to enhance structural rigidity and energy absorption, ensuring high crashworthiness.

Connected Features

Looking at the features, the new Hyundai Creta comes across as a tech-savvy SUV, offering 70+ connectivity features. The new 10.25-inch Infotainment screen features in-built navigation, Blue Link connectivity, a Bose premium sound 8-speaker system, and a multi-language UI display.

The new 10.25-inch multi-display digital cluster provides information on driving statistics, ADAS alerts, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Highline, and Blind View Monitor. The new Creta introduces the convenience of an in-built music streaming application, JioSaavn with a one-year complimentary subscription.

The new Creta will also get high-end features such as ventilated seats, an 8-way power driver seat, and a panoramic sunroof, the new Hyundai Creta also introduces Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control (DATC) a feature found only a couple of cars in this segment.

Overall, the new look and new set of features could help the new Creta set new benchmarks in the compact SUV segment. Hyundai had recently opened bookings for the SUV for ₹25,000/- and the car will be launched on January 16.
