MY24 Hyundai Alcazar facelift will look distinct from the Creta

Hyundai could be planning to launch the new Alcazar in the Indian market which will now come with interior and exterior enhancements as well as feature upgrades such as ADAS. The new Alzacar is speculated to be based on the facelift Creta that was launched in the recent past. However, the Alcazar is likely to come with distinctive looks on the outside as well as on the inside.

Hyundai Alcazar – New Front Fascia

According to the latest spyshots, the upcoming Alcazar SUV is likely to come with a brand new grille design. The grille is likely to be quite imposing, featuring horizontal slats. The grille also appears to take up most of the front fascia of the 3-row SUV. Also, the front fascia is likely to come with reprofiled bumpers on the front and rear. But, the test mule is currently seen with heavy camouflage especially on the rear end. However, speculation is that the tail lamp setup is likely to be horizontal and could draw inspiration from the Hyundai Palisade. Furthermore, spyshots also reveal a new design on the alloy wheels.

Hyundai Alcazar – Interiors

On the inside, the new Alcazar could come with a dual cockpit setup. But, the brand is likely to continue to offer the Alcazar with a dual screen dashboard which could be shared with the new Creta. But, the dashboard layout is likely to be different from the Creta facelift. Also, speculation is that the Alcazar facelift is also likely to come with captain seats on the 2nd row which may also get seat ventilation as well as AC vents with separate controls. The car is also likely to come with Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera and multiple airbags.

Powering the current Alcazar is the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 160 PS of power and 253 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
