Bajaj has launched the new Pulsar N160 in the Indian market at the price of INR 1,39,693 ex-showroom. The Bajaj Pulsar N160 not only gets the visual updates but also comes with features that would rival motorcycle even above its segment. The brand has updated the Pulsar N160 with new graphics, new suspension, new braking hardware and a new electronics suite.
Bajaj Pulsar N150 – What’s New?
The Bajaj Pulsar N150 is now available with a 33mm upside down front suspension finished in champagne gold colour. The new suspension setup will not only make the motorcycle more visually appealing but also help in improving the stability of the bike. Thanks to the new suspension the brand claims that the handling is also now more precise and the overall ride experience has been improved.
Furthermore, the Bajaj Pulsar N150 now also gets ABS ride modes – Rain, Road, and Off-road. These riding modes optimise the ABS intervention on the motorcycle offering maximum control to the rider in different types of road conditions. The new ABS riding modes on the Bajaj Pulsar N160 will also improve the overall control and offer precision riding dynamics.
However, the Bajaj Pulsar N160 continues to be powered by the same engine. Powering the Bajaj Pulsar N150 is a 164.82cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine. The engine produces up to 16PS of power @ 8750rpm.
What are Bajaj ABS Riding Modes?
The ABS riding modes and their use case is as follows:-
- Road Mode – This mode is best suited for regular riding on road surfaces within the urban environment. The standard mode is calibrated for braking intervention required on city streets as well as on highways.
- Rain Mode – The Rain Mode as the name suggest is suitable for wet roads. The ABS riding mode ensures more confidence and stable braking on
slippery surfaces by adding the intervention to sudden braking inputs. Thanks to rain mode the rider will be safe especially during the monsoon season. - Off-Road Mode – The Off-Road mode is particularly made to offer limited intervention giving more control to the rider. The ABS mode is best suited for undulated terrain and gravel-like road conditions and gives better control on bad road surfaces.
