Bajaj Auto has launched the MY24 Bajaj Pulsar F250. The motorcycle, priced at INR 1.51 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi, has been introduced quietly.
The launch of the Pulsar F250 comes as Bajaj Auto is in the process of updating its entire Pulsar lineup. Earlier this month, the company launched its biggest Pulsar NS400 Z in the market, priced at INR 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom). Last month, Bajaj launched the updated Pulsar N250 in the market.
The new Pulsar F250 is powered by a 249 cc, single-cylinder engine that delivers 24 bhp at 8750rpm and 21.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. It also features a five-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch for smoother shifting. The same engine powers the Pulsar N250 as well.
In terms of design, the 2024 Pulsar F250 is identical to the 2023 model, save for the new black colour and the red and white graphics across the bike. The semi-fairing is one of the main visual differences between the Pulsar F250 and the 2024 Pulsar N250. The other difference is that the naked bike gets a USD fork while the F250 continues to have a conventional telescopic fork. The semi-fairing gives the F250 a more sporty look as compared to its naked sibling.
The Pulsar F250, like the rest of the bikes in the Bajaj Pulsar range, has a new digital instrument cluster that features Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. Also, it gets three ABS modes- Rain, Road and Sport, like the 2024 Pulsar N250.
By pricing the F250 at par with the Pulsar N250, Bajaj will be hoping that the former garners a lot more sales than the previous bike that was discontinued due to low demand. The Pulsar F250 is expected to make a strong impact in its segment.
