MY23 Triumph Bonneville T120 Black edition launched in India at INR 11.09 lakh

Along with the 2023 Bonneville T120, Triumph Motorcycles India has also launched the 2023 iteration of the Bonneville T120 Black in India at INR 11.09 lakh ex-showroom. Like the Bonneville T120, the Bonneville T120 Black received a significant update in 2021. But for 2023, Triumph limited the changes to a new colour option. As for the powertrain, suspension and other mechanical bits, it remains identical to the previous model.

2023 Triumph Bonneville T120 Black – Colours & Prices

For the 2023 model year, Triumph has added a new Sapphire Black with Matte Sapphire Black colour option to the Bonneville T120 Black. The new colour option gets a split scheme across its fuel tank. Further accentuating this is a hand-painted silver coach-line detailing. Additionally, the mudguards, headlight bowl and side panels also get a Sapphire Black finish. The new colour joins the existing and timeless single-tone Jet Black colour option. Both colour options also get a brown-coloured bench seat with an embossed Triumph logo.

Prices for the 2023 Bonneville T120 Black range start at INR 11.09 lakh ex-showroom for the Jet Black colour option. Meanwhile, the new Sapphire Black with Matte Sapphire Black is INR 30,000 more expensive and retails for INR 11.39 lakh ex-showroom.

2023 Triumph Bonneville T120 Black – Highlights

Like the 2023 Bonneville T120, Triumph has not made any changes to its design. The Black edition continues to get a host of premium blacked-out detailing and components. These include blacked-out wire-spoke wheels, grab rail, mirrors, engine covers, and more. Unlike the chrome units on the regular version, the T120 Black also gets black-finished exhaust tailpipes.

The 2023 Bonneville T120 Black uses the same 1200cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine with a 270° crank. The engine has a peak output of 80 PS at 6,550 rpm and a peak torque output of 105 Nm at 3,500 rpm. The T120 Black gets a 6-speed transmission which also features a torque-assist clutch.

Suspension and brakes are also similar to the regular T120. The front suspension setup consists of 41mm cartridge-type forks and twin RSU units at the back. The rear is also adjustable for preload. As for the brakes, it uses dual 310mm discs at the front and a 255mm disc at the back. The front uses Brembo callipers, while the rear one is a Nissin unit. The T120 Black also comes with Dual-Channel ABS and Cruise Control as standard.
