Suzuki India has some updates for its Gixxer lineup. This includes the Gixxer, Gixxer SF, Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250. As a part of this update, the motorcycle gets new colourways and the ‘Suzuki Ride Connect’ Bluetooth connectivity system.
The Suzuki Gixxer as well as the Gixxer 250 ranges are all available with a new set of colours. These are Metallic Sonic Silver/Metallic Triton Blue, Metallic Matte Stellar Blue, and Metallic Matte Black No.2. The Gixxer 250 is also available in two matte colours, these are, Metallic Matte Stellar Blue and Metallic Matte Black No.2. For the Gixxer SF, we have Metallic Sonic Silver/Pearl Blaze Orange, Metallic Triton Blue, and Glass Sparkle Black. Finally, we have the Gixxer, which is available in three colour shades. These are namely, Metallic Sonic Silver/Pearl Blaze Orange, Metallic Triton Blue, and Glass Sparkle Black
The other major update that the Suzuki Gixxer range got is the Suzuki Ride Connect. With the use of a dedicated app, riders can now pair their smartphone. With this, they can now receive incoming calls and SMS alerts as well as turn-by-turn navigation details. This is a similar tech which is found on the Suzuki V-Strom SX. In fact, we also see this feature with the Access 125, Avenis and Burgman Street EX.
With these updates, the price range of the Suzuki Gixxer has gotten dearer. The Gixxer street naked, for instance, is now costlier by INR 7,000 and now costs INR 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom). The Gixxer SF currently retails at INR 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom), which is an increase of INR 8,000.
For the Gixxer 250 one now has to pay around INR 1.95 lakh (ex-showroom). This price tag is now costlier by INR 14,000. The Gixxer SF 250’s price has also increased by INR 10,000. With this, the motorcycle now comes with a price tag of INR 2.02 lakh (ex-showroom).
