MY23 Kawasaki Z900 launched in India at INR 8.93 lakh

Kawasaki India has announced the introduction of the MY23 Z900. Apart from the addition of two new colour shades, the 2023 model remains identical to the outgoing model. Thus, customers can now get the motorcycle in Ebony/Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Grey and Metallic Phantom Silver/Metallic Carbon Grey. The MY23 Kawasaki Z900 comes with a sticker price of INR 8.93 lakh ex-showroom.

Kawasaki Z900 – Key Highlights

Design

The Japanese naked roadster carries Kawasaki’s Sugomi styling with a hunched-down stance. The design utilises a low-slung headlamp, a muscular fuel tank, and a raked tail section. In terms of features, the Z900 gets full-LED lighting and a Bluetooth-enabled 4.3-inch colour TFT display.

Mechanicals

The Kawasaki Z900 continues with the 948cc BS6 engine, which develops a power of 123.64 bhp and a torque of 98.6 Nm. The equipped gearbox is a 6-speed unit which also gets a slip and assist clutch. The motorcycle also benefits from both front and rear disc brakes. To further add to the safety, Kawasaki Z900 has an anti-locking braking system. The weight of the Kawasaki Z900 stands at 212 kg.

Meanwhile, its fuel tank capacity is 17 litres. In terms of the electronic rider aids, we get a traction control system, two power modes, and four riding modes. The motorcycle makes use of a steel trellis frame. Kawasaki has equipped the motorcycle with 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends. The wheels come wrapped with Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tyres.

Adding to the owner’s convenience is that the 2022 Kawasaki Z900 also benefits from the company’s K-Care package. The package brings an extended warranty and annual maintenance contract for a period of four years.
