Kawasaki has launched the 2023 Ninja 650 at an ex-showroom price of INR 7,12,00. Here are some of the highlighted features and updates:
Kawasaki calls it the KTRC or Kawasaki Traction Control System. The system offers an improved sport riding performance and the peace of negotiating low-traction surfaces. Riders can drive with confidence when presented with these conditions. The bike also gets two modes that allow the rider to adjust settings to suit the riding situation as per their preference. The bike also allows this system to be turned off.
The 2023 Ninja 650 also gets twin-barrel LED headlamps in both high and low beams. This will offer improved riding experience in the dark.
The redesigned windshield now gets a sportier appearance. It now sits lower and flush-fit with the upper cowl. The angle of the windscreen is set at a more upright angle to offer better wind protection.
Kawaski has equipped the 2023 Ninja 650 with Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tyres. The front tyre size is 120/70ZR17 while the rear is 160/60ZR17.
Kawasaki has also equipped the Ninja 650 with a new digital TFT colour instrument cluster.This is a first for a Kawasaki first in from the 650cc class. This gives the cockpit a high-tech and high-grade appearance. The new cluser also offers some more new features as compared to the previous model.
Riders can also pair their smartphone with the RIDEOLOGY App. Users will be able to access even more data using this app.
The bike is now compliant with BS6 emission norms. The company also claims that there is an increase in the mid-range torque while maintaining the power as compared to the outgoing model.
The 649cc, 4-stroke parallel-twin engine develops 68 PS @ 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 64 Nm @ 6,700 rpm.
