Hyundai has announced some new changes for the 2023 Venue. These include some new feature additions as well as the biggest update being the new 1.5-litre diesel engine. The same has been borrowed from the larger sibling Creta. The Hyundai Venue is priced from INR 7.68 lakh.
In terms of exteriors, the SUV now gets a new chrome grille with split head lamps. The tail lamp design has changed as well. Apart from this, the overall design of the Venue has remained the same as last year.
There are five variants on offer – E, S, S(O), SX and SX(O). The SX and SX(O) get 6 airbags while the others come with 4 airbags as standard. There have been some feature deletions as well. Features like the reclining rear seats and the rear armrest with cup holders have been removed from the SX diesel.
Coming to N line variants, there have been no changes save for the addition of side airbags as standard.
The biggest change is the 1.5-litre diesel engine from the Creta. This engine develops 116 PS of max power and a peak torque of 250 Nm. No diesel automatic is on offer this time. Sadly, Hyundai has offered only a manual transmission with this punchy engine.
Other engine options include the 1.2-litre petrol and the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol.
There has been a modest hike in the price across the variants. In brief, the diesel variants have got an hike of INR 15-20,000; the turbo petrol witnessed an increase of INR 40,000 while the 1.2-litre engine got pricey by INR 14-22,000. Here is a list of variant wise prices:
